The Wing Chair Design:
A shapely and extremely comfortable armchair on beech solid wood frame. The CH445 is one of Wegner’s most famous pieces of furniture and is also known as the “Wingchair”. Particularly noteworthy are the unusual shape of the backrest and the upholstered armrests. The transverse seam in the backrest, which is characteristic of this armchair, promotes a natural, comfortable sitting position. The armchair is available with textile or leather cover. The legs are made of stainless steel. Design: Hans J. Wegner, 1960. The armchair is also available with a matching footrest (CH446).
