The Kay Bojesen Panda was manufactured and designed in beech wood in 2019 and is a great gift, not only for the younger generation – available in two sizes.

Kay Bojesen retained his childlike curiosity and joy until his last breath. He died at the age of 72 and left an important legacy as a designer. A legacy that is now protected and honored by his four grandchildren.
Kay Bojesen’s heart beat for everything that should make children and the young at heart happy. The friendly bear Ursula was created as early as 1952, inspired by a young bear that was raised at home by the zoo inspector and his wife. Well – more than 65 years later, in 2019, the beautiful panda was presented on the occasion of the new panda house at Copenhagen Zoo. Look forward to the new panda in two different sizes, made from painted FSC®-certified beech.
