The company was founded in 1937 by Magnus Olesen and today it’s a well-reputed furniture company, developing and manufacturing functional seating furniture with matching tables of a high design quality.
Magnus Olesen believes in the good Danish craftsmanship and have manufactured in Denmark since 1937. They build furniture in their own factory in Durup, where raw materials or semi-finished products are transformed into chairs, tables and conference furniture. When purchasing semi-finished products they always ensure that the suppliers comply with their procurement rules with respect to production, the environment and employee relations.
Aesthetics, purpose and function are the main ingredients in the products created by Magnus Olesen A/S. The design always derives from the good idea with a goal that the furniture may enter in many different contexts and may be combined across the various series.
This is the recipe that makes many of Magnus Olesen furniture pieces to modern classics today.
