Designed in 1949, the three-legged and organically shaped coffee table is a very typical Finn Juhl design and shows detailed beauty and craftsmanship. To open the table, lift the hanging part and slide the entire table top over the base frame into a central position where all sides are equally supported by the three legs.
The very unconventional table appears deceptively delicate and is now made from walnut wood with a circular brass inlay.

The Butterfly Table was designed by Finn Juhl in 1949 and is a very exclusive coffee table. So exclusive that it was practically never produced at the time of its creation. Commissioned by carpenter Niels Vodder, the Butterfly Table was exhibited along with the legendary Chieftain Chair, Chieftain Sofa and Egyptian Chair during the famous guild exhibition in 1949. The table is made of walnut wood with a circular brass inlay.
