Hanna Hansdotter:
Hanna Hansdotter, born in 1984 in Lund, is an artist and designer based in Glasriket (Kingdom of Crystal, Sweden). Hansdotter graduated from Konstfack in 2017 and made an instant international impact. She combines art and design at the crossroads of architecture and ornamentation in her work.
She first contacted Kosta Glass School at 24 and studied at Riksglasskolan and Konstfack. In 2016, she collaborated with Kosta Boda for the first time.
Throughout her career, Hansdotter has received numerous awards. In 2020, she received the Åke Andrén artist scholarship and has won prizes including the Elle Decoration Design Awards and Residence Arts & Crafts Awards. A number of museums worldwide display Hansdotter’s work, including the Stockholm National Museum and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.
