The Design
The Blown Pendant is the first lamp that Samuel Wilkinson has made for &Tradition. This was inspired by a variety of things – shadow, reflection of the glass and even the shape of a raspberry, to which the design easily remembers. The luminaire can be suspended individually, but makes a very homogenous overall picture in a connection of several pendulum lights. &Tradition is a company in which craftsmanship meets art, form to function and everything is always realized in an elaborate processing of high quality and natural raw materials. This is the Nordic tradition and the legacy of & tradition, on the basis of which the transition to modern, contemporary design is created. & Tradition is linked to the masters of yesterday and the leading designers of today as well as the talents of tomorrow.
