About Bernhard Pedersen & Søn – BPS230 Wall Cabinet:

A beautifully crafted floating wall cabinet made from solid wood. Designed to be mounted on the wall, it creates a sleek, floating effect that maximizes space while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Its proportions strike a perfect balance between functionality and elegance, making it suitable for both contemporary and traditional interiors. Convenient storage is provided behind a side-closing tambour (roller shutter) door, crafted entirely from solid wood.

Originally designed in 1956, Wall Cabinet No. 230 has been reimagined by the BPS Design Studio in 2024. This updated version captures the essence of Danish Modern design with its clean lines, practicality, and expert craftsmanship. Every piece is proudly made in Denmark and individually numbered upon final assembly, ensuring authenticity and quality.

About The Bernhard Pedersen & Søn:

Bernh. Pedersen & Søn, a Danish furniture manufacturer, has a long and strong tradition in furniture making, dating back to the founding of the company in 1902. Over three generations, the family business produced classic Danish furniture, which was sold worldwide. Particularly during the years from 1950 to 1970, some of the most beautiful and finely crafted furniture pieces in Bernh. Pedersen & Søn’s history were created. Especially the classic sideboards and daybeds from the mid-century, designed by Danish furniture designers such as the world-renowned Johannes Andersen, Svend Aage Madsen, and Kurt Østervig, were – and continue to be – highly appreciated by customers all over the world.

In 2015, the great-grandson, Thomas Bernhard Pedersen, re-established the company, focusing exclusively on reintroducing some of the exquisite furniture designed in the 50s and 60s.
