The Carl Hansen & Søn – BK12 Lounge Sofa was designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959. It is available untreated teak with or without a seat cover. The sofa from the indoor-outdoor series is durable enough to stay outdoors, while being beautiful enough to be used indoors.

Description:

The Carl Hansen & Søn – BK12 Lounge Sofa is clear, precise and appealingly graphic and looks just as good inside as it does outside. The solid teak chair, inspired by cubism, is designed to patinate beautifully over time. Despite its robust construction, the sofa has a fine, linear appearance. The lounge sofa was designed in 1959 as part of a series of architecturally inspired indoor and outdoor furniture, the proportions of which have been designed to relate to the surroundings. In addition to the lounge sofa, the indoor-outdoor series by Kjær includes a lounge chair, a side table, a dining table, dining chair, a rocking sofa and a sun lounger. All seats, chairs and beds can be supplied with matching support pillows made from weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric.
