The Carl Hansen & Søn – BK13 & BK17 swing sofa & frame was designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959. It is available in untreated teak with or without a seat cover. The designs of the collection are characterized by a timeless, straightforward design language.

Description:

The Das Carl Hansen & Søn – BK13 & BK17 swing Sofa & Frame is clear, precise and graphically appealing and looks just as good inside as it does outside. Despite its robust construction, the rocking sofa has a fine, linear appearance. The BK13 rocking sofa was designed in 1959 as part of a range of architecturally inspired indoor and outdoor furniture, the proportions of which have been designed to relate to the surroundings. In addition to the lounge sofa, the indoor-outdoor series by Kjær includes a lounge chair, a side table, a dining table, dining chair and a sun lounger. All seats, chairs and beds can be supplied with matching support pillows made from weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric.
