The flat dome of the BT1041 Calot Pendant lamp was designed by the Danish architect duo Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. This unusual design from the late 1960s is part of a series of expressive lamps characterized by their strict geometric shapes. The three lamp models in the series feature semi-mirrored bulbs that create an interesting interplay between light and shadow. The BT1041 Calot Pendant lamp with a diameter of 65 cm has been reissued and is now available in white or black lacquered steel or with dark green lacquer and polished brass, in addition to the original versions.
