The CH111 Design by Hans J.Wegner

he CH111 chair by Hans J. Wegner represents some of his finest and most intricate work in stainless steel. The distinctive lines and attention to detail create a modern and appealing design that appears just as contemporary today as it did in 1970, when it was designed.

One of the distinctive features of the shape of the CH111 chair is the rear leg rotated by 90 degrees, which fits into the padded backrest and is therefore optimally supported. A simpler solution would have been to just weld the armrest to the extended rear leg, but Wegner never compromised on quality or aesthetics.

The CH111 chair was designed alongside the elegant CH110 desk. The series represents some of Wegner’s finest steel frame furniture.
