Designed in 1965, the CH45 Rocking Chair is part of a larger series that Wegner designed for Carl Hansen & Søn, including the CH46 and CH47 dining chairs and the CH53 Footstool, all of which are still produced to this day. The modern rocking chair captivates with the elegance of its Nordic simplicity, inspired by the Shaker era. It has a reclined back design and a woven paper cord seat that is repeated in other designs in the series.
