The DK3 – Ten Design by Christian Troels & Jacob Plejdrup

With the aim of taking this design legacy to the next level, dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup developed the TEN TABLE anniversary table in collaboration with Danish designer Christian Troels. Christian Troels’ designs are characterized by a high level of attention to detail and precise craftsmanship. With the TEN TABLE, these are perfectly merged with Jacob Plejdrup’s basic ideas on large dining tables. The natural beauty of the wood is highlighted in a minimalist way.

The table top and the table legs are made of solid wood, but despite its weight, the table has a lightness in size and weight, which is underlined by the refined processing details such as the beautiful vertical grooves on the legs and the distinctive, organic shape. The slightly curved shape of the table top has no straight lines and in combination with the inclined table edge, the table top appears to be in constant motion. The curved movement continues on the extension leaves, which completes the overall impression and gives the table a unique expression.
