Finn Juhl – Silver Table

The Finn Juhl – Silver Table dining table is a unique oval dining or conference table. It can be extended with two additional extension leaves while the frame remains in the same position.

The positioning of the silver inlays is anything but random. They clearly show whether the table has space for 4, 6, 8 or 10 people.

The elegance of Finn Juhl is world wide known, but a diamond lies within the touch of the products, the details, the curvy spaced assemblings, and not at least the feeling of honesty of the material. He is the space between minimalism and extravagant luxury.

With the two extension leaves, the table offers space for up to 14 people. The Silver Table is available in three versions.

The first variant is in walnut, as the table was originally made. The second comes with a teak top (currently not available) on an oak frame. And the third variant is entirely in oak. In addition, the table can be ordered with or without silver inlays.

The silver table of Finn Juhl:

The Silver Table was originally made from Brazilian rosewood by the carpenter Niels Vodder and exhibited at the 1948 exhibition of the Copenhagen Carpenters’ Guild. It was then made from two different wood materials with a darker top and a lighter frame.

The table top has 30 sterling silver inlays, which inspired its nickname, the Judas table. The table is classic and extravagant due to its fine details and the silver inlays that are scattered over the table top like a blanket of stars.
