The FJ 4880 Design by Finn Juhl:

The Whisky Chair was designed by Finn Juhl in 1948 and is characterized by the designer’s artistic sense of form, function and detail. Finn Juhl played a seminal role in the Danish modern design movement, as his sculptural furniture established Denmark’s position as a pioneering country
in furniture design. The exclusive chair was originally presented at the 1948 Carpenters Guild exhibition as part of Finn Juhl’s concept of “An Art Collector’s Living Room,” but did not go into production. Finn Juhl always dared to stand alone and didn’t care about the critics who thought his designs were too extravagant. Today, it’s finally time for one of the most daring designs to have a revival.

The chair is made of exquisite American walnut wood and hand upholstered in leather and/or fabric of the finest quality. The chair also features signature brass feet. The Whisky Chair is overwhelmingly comfortable and invites a special moment of immersion and enjoyment.
