The Design

The Charlotte Amalie series was named after Per Lütkens wife and is a symbol of the craftsmanship tradition and the classic design of Holmegaard. Use the white wine glass also for serving small snacks, portioned salads and desserts. You can also use several glasses of the series in different sizes on the table as flower vases.

The series includes glasses for various wines, beer, schnapps and sparkling wine. The white wine glass is mouth blown and a personal gift idea for a special occasion.

Holmegaard is a Danish glass factory and produces hand-blown and machine-blown glass in accordance with the latest and most modern production methods.

Each piece of blown glass is unique, made by hand the glassblower who carefully blow out the right amount of air through the narrow tube to get to the right results. Through the hand work air bubbles in the glass are inevitable, but also increase the charm on the mouthblown glass.
