Kay Bojesen’s imaginative family of wooden toys has a very special appeal for both children and adults. For christenings, birthdays, school leavers, anniversaries and weddings. The updated version serves a similar purpose as the orginial. The Hippo is made of beech wood and is paonted with a black plaque, so it is useful for small notes on it. Otherwise you can use is as a memo pad on the desk. The Hippo is about 2 cm higher and wider than the original. This will provide more space for drawing or writing. The white chalkboard is included in the box. This is simply another Kay Bojesen classic, which will accompany its owner for a lifetime.

Kay Bojesen kept his childish curiosity and joy to his last breath. He died at the age of 72 and left a significant legacy as a designer. A heritage that is now protected by his four grandchildren.
