Le Klint LAMELLA Plafond Ceiling and wall Lamp

The LAMELLA lighting collection was designed by the talented duo Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi. They were fascinated by the underside of mushroom caps and the delicate wrinkled effect, whose biological name, after some research, was “lamella.”

This formal fold structure, paired with a soft yet striking silhouette, characterizes the design of these lights. Simplicity, subtle curved lines, pure white light – all key factors in how this beautiful modern design will quickly transform into a timeless classic.

To remain true to nature’s form, the ancient artisanal production technique called ‘Plica’ has now been reintegrated into the routine of our folding technicians to create this beautiful new collection.

The LAMELLA series is handmade in Odense, Denmark.
