Das Louis Poulsen – Moonsetter Limited Edition Design by Anne Bojesen:

This unique lamp by architect and designer Anne Boysen was chosen as the winner in the competition “Next Danish Design Classic”, which was broadcast on Danish television in 2020. The jury appreciated the qualities of the Moonsetter from the very beginning. The simple design, clean lines and timeless elegance create a convincing overall image. The design of the Moonsetter is based on basic geometric shapes, combining circle, square and cylinder in a unique artistic configuration. After Anne Boysen created the first prototype of the floor lamp for the design competition, she partnered with Louis Poulsen to further optimize her design. In 2021, the lamp was launched in Denmark in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
With its sculptural aesthetics, the floor lamp attracts all eyes in any interior – almost like a work of art. Its 360° rotatable disk with various surfaces invites extensive experimentation with how the light can be reflected in the room – and likewise the room in the mirror surface of the luminaire. The Moonsetter encourages experimentation and discovery. In this way, the quality of the design can not only be seen, but also felt and sensed. The Moonsetter blurs the boundaries between sculpture and light source. It is not only functional, but also aesthetic. With its impressive size, the Moonsetter is a real eye-catcher and creates a space within a space that can be shaped with the help of reflections and light. The lamps are manufactured in editions of 100 pieces and numbered accordingly. The edition number and a unique consecutive number from 1 to 100 are engraved on the lamp.
