PH 80 floor lamp by Louis Poulsen

The Louis Poulsen PH 80 floor lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen and is also an absolute classic by Louis Poulsen as a floor lamp.

The lamp produces a diffuse, reflected and symmetrical light. Most of the light is emitted downwards. The opal acrylic shades provide pleasant room lighting. At the same time, the reddish color of the upper reflector of the original lamp provides an intense, warm light. On the black and white versions the upper reflector is white. It reflects light and creates an elegant, simple look. The light color depends on the choice of light source.

Poul Henningsen designed the three-shade system in 1925/26. The first lights with this system were created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen for an exhibition in Paris.
