The pp571 Architect’s Desk was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1953. The exquisite pp571 Architect’s Desk was created as a counterpart to the Round Chair. Later in 1955, he designed the pp502 Swivel Chair, completing a series of exclusive masterpieces for the CEO’s office.

Hans J. Wegner designed the exquisite pp571 architect’s desk in 1953 as a companion piece to the Round Chair. Later, in 1955, he designed the matching swivel chair, completing a series of exclusive masterpieces for the CEO’s office. The desk marks the beginning of Wegner’s work on combining sharp steel and sculptural solid wood in elegant and balanced solutions.r
