The table was designed in 2020 by the danish dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup and designer Christian Troels. this solid wood table showcases organic shapes, expert joinery, and a minimalist aesthetic that highlights the raw elegance of nature.

dk3 was one of the first brands to introduce the plank table to the Scandinavian market back in 2009.
To build on this design legacy, dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup partnered with Danish designer Christian Troels in 2019 to create the Ten Table—an anniversary dining table that blends tradition with innovation. In 2020, the exclusive design was also launched in a coffee table version.

Christian Troels’ designs are known for their high level of detail and precise craftsmanship. In the Ten Table, his meticulous approach is seamlessly combined with Jacob Plejdrup’s core design philosophy: to highlight the natural beauty of wood through minimalism. This shared vision is clearly reflected in both the dining and coffee table versions of the Ten Table concept.

Crafted entirely from solid wood, the table features both a robust presence and an elegant lightness. This balance is achieved through refined details—such as the beautifully carved vertical grooves on the legs and the distinctive, organically shaped tabletop. The tabletop has no straight lines; its gently curved form and sloping edges create a sense of constant motion, giving the table a unique and sculptural expression.
