The Reading Chair is one of Finn Juhl’s simpler but more elegant pieces. The chair is characterized by elaborate details and a whimsical story. The chair was designed in 1953 and allows multiple sitting positions – a unique design feature that is typical of Finn Juhl’s furniture. While the Reading Chair was previously only available with an upholstered seat, there is now a new edition with a veneered seat – just like the very first version that Finn Juhl designed for Bovirke.
