David Trubridge is an international well known Danish designer with an unusual history. His first studies in the field of building ships lead him back into a workshop and was allowing him to deepen his crafting skills. After his studies he began to sail the world with his family and got influenced by many different designs and cultures. He settled down in New Zealand and showed of his first work as a designer in 2001.

His Coral lamp is regarded as a design classic today. His work was shown in many galeries and showrooms all over the world, like the V & A and the Centre Pompidou.
