The history
Onecollection was founded in 1990 by Ivan Hansen and Henrik Sørensen, who still run the company today and are passionate about providing high-quality design solutions in collaboration with outstanding designers.
In 2001, Onecollection received exclusive rights from Finn Juhl’s widow to manufacture and reintroduce Finn Juhl’s sculptural and iconic furniture. Today, the unique Finn Juhl collection consists of 40 classic masterpieces, which Onecollection manufactures with the utmost respect for the original heritage and strict quality standards.
For Onecollection, diving into Finn Juhl’s design universe is like a joyful journey with constant surprises in terms of shapes, aesthetics and unique design details. The Finn Juhl collection, called House of Finn Juhl, has its own website and identity: House of Finn Juhl.
Eine anarchistische Reise.
Onecollection, oder Hansen und Sørensen, wie das Unternehmen bei seiner Gründung 1990 ursprünglich hieß, basiert auf Überzeugung und persönlichen Beziehungen. Die Einstellung ist und war schon immer, dass ein Projekt – sei es ein neuer Stuhl oder die komplette Inneneinrichtung eines Gebäudes – nur dann in Angriff genommen werden kann, wenn von Anfang an eine gute Stimmung herrscht.
Von einem kleinen Außenposten aus, praktisch so weit westlich, wie man in Dänemark kommen kann, ist es uns gelungen, Kunden auf der ganzen Welt von Projekten zu überzeugen. Die Reise war nicht ohne Hindernisse, aber mit Leidenschaft und Enthusiasmus haben wir immer wieder Menschen überzeugt – nicht zuletzt einige sehr kritische Banken am Anfang – und das ist immer noch der Hauptgrund, warum Onecollection heute floriert.

Onecollection, or Hansen and Sørensen as the company was originally called when it was founded in 1990, is based on conviction and personal relationships. The attitude is, and always has been, that a project – be it a new chair or the complete interior design of a building – can only be tackled if there is a good vibe from the start.
From a small outpost, practically as far west as you can get in Denmark, we’ve managed to convince clients all over the world to take on projects. The journey has not been without obstacles, but with passion and enthusiasm we have always managed to convince people – not least some very critical banks at the beginning – and that is still the main reason why Onecollection is flourishing today.
