The Carl Hansen & Søn – BK11 indoor-outdoor Lounge chair was designed in 1959 by Bodil Kjær. It is available with or without a seat cushion. The indoor-outdoor series chair is durable enough to stay outdoors while beautiful enough to be used indoors.

Description:

Carl Hansen & Søn – BK11 indoor-outdoor armchair is clear, precise and attractively graphic and looks just as good indoors as it does outdoors. Crafted from solid teak, the cubist-inspired chair is designed to patinate beautifully over time. Despite its robust construction, the chair has a fine, linear appearance. The chair was designed in 1959 as part of a range of architecturally inspired indoor and outdoor furniture, the proportions of which were designed to relate to the surroundings. In addition to the dining chair, Kjær’s indoor-outdoor series includes a lounge chair, side table, dining table, two-seater lounge sofa, rocking sofa and sun lounger. All seats, chairs and beds can be supplied with matching supportive cushions in weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric.
